View Your Progress
Every student has an individual goal they are working towards. In Kindergarten-2nd grade they earn badges for passed quizzes.
In 3rd-5th grade they earn points and a rocket ship will fly across the page to tell them how close they are to meeting that point goal.
Each book is worth a set number of points. However students in 3rd-5th grade only earn points based on how many questions they got correct. For example, let's say a book is worth 10 points and there are 10 questions for students to answer about the book. If they get at least 7 correct answers (70%) they will pass the quiz, however they will only earn 7 points for that books. They only earn full points if they get all the answers correct!

Prizes for meeting Goals
Kindergarten-2nd grade: For every badge they collect, they get 5 book bucks. They need to get at least one badge per quarter to meet their goal for a sweet treat at their award ceremony.
3rd-5th grade: For every 10 points they accumulate, they get 5 book bucks. If they meet their Reading Goal and their rocket lands on the planet (this is a different number for each student based on grade level and reading level), they will earn a sweet treat at their award ceremony.
Book Bucks can be used to buy prizes during our special area time.
