Hello! I love being the Media Specialist at Manatee Cove!! I attended Deland High School and graduated in 2007. I worked at the Deland Public Library while attending Daytona State College and the University of Central Florida for a degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Masters in Educational Technology from Adelphi University.
This is my 11th year with Volusia County Schools. I started by teaching Intensive Reading for 3 years at University High School. Then I taught 5th grade for 3 years and 4th grade for 2 years.
This is my fourth year being the Media Specialist and I love getting to share the joy of reading with your children every day.
