READING COUNTS!
Reading counts is a computer based program that awards students points for the books that they read. Students read a book on their reading level and then take the reading counts quiz in the classroom or the Media Center. During the virus quarantine time, Reading Counts will be available for students to take at home. There are 10 questions and they must get at least 7 of them correct in order to receive their points.
Please remember:
1. This is an independent reading program and students must answer the questions on their own. They can't get help unless they have accommodations that allow for that. Please do not help your child in answering quiz questions
2. Student's are not allowed to take quizzes on books they have already passed in previous years.
Students are rewarded for their reading progress throughout the year. Below is the list of prizes that students can receive with their points. This year our theme is "Power Up with Reading", and all the prizes relate to our gaming theme.
